Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Phil Craig is excited to release his deluxe single ‘Jesus has Conquered (Confidence) - Acoustic’ on March 10th, 2023.
Hope, encouragement, and confidence are built with Phil’s single. It moves the listener to find strength in Jesus despite current circumstances. The acoustic version features beautiful strings, paired with ambient guitars and pianos supporting lyrics of hope. The original version is a mid-tempo worship song with strong instrumentation and melodic strings, and also features a choir comprised of Phil’s supporters.
Oftentimes we judge ourselves even when we know that God has forgiven us. Low confidence and low self-esteem often follow reinforcing self-judgment. Phil’s new song ‘Jesus has Conquered (Confidence)’ speaks to the truth that God is the highest judge and has pronounced us free. It also discusses how we find freedom and confidence because of Jesus when we are discouraged or only see in part. Phil wrote this song when he was working through these very challenges in his own life.

Phil Craig is a Christian Contemporary Singer/Songwriter from Vancouver, Canada. He launched his debut EP album in April 2021. His next single, ‘Jesus has Conquered (Confidence) - Acoustic ’ will be available on all streaming platforms from March 10th, 2023.
Phil had his first guitar when he was four years old and is now a worship leader, and singer-songwriter. He credits artists Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Cody Carnes, Brian Johnson, Paul Baloche, and Matt Redman as huge influences on his music and writing styles. Phil is also an airline pilot. The combination of structure and creativity is something that he loves and this comes together in music. His passion is leading worship for the local church.
He writes God-centered, Christ-exulting congregational worship songs that strengthen and encourage the church. If you enjoy the songs of Matt Redman, Phil Wickham, and Cody Carnes, you will love his new single.
